Hello, dear.
How was your day?
How was your day?
Only if they came with 3D glasses.

Big Mac has a clear path to the Hall, but what about Jose Canseco?

I am 73% addicted to the internet, apparently. I guess I would have scored higher, but the thought of me 'missing graduation to be online' is just a little over the top.

My odd cubicle mate's response to the third paragraph in Turkey farmers cater to what the public wants: "They don't say which man."

Oh, I see I have an "Elsewhere" that goes nowhere. Nice of iSyndicate to mention that they're history.

I haven't heard it. I can imagine, though. BBC - Weakest Link - Single.

My new cubicle mate is scaring the hell out of me, with phrases I never thought I would hear out loud. Things like "I have every Duckman ever published," and "I DO have piles of newspapers in my house. I collect them," and "I have all the TV listings from the last five years." Please pray for me.

Memo to self: Download AceHTML to try at work. (Linking to Tucows because author's site makes downloading an evaluation a pain. Why do they need to know the gender of someone checking out their software? Are some features genital-dependent?)

A visit to the Dismal Scientist Layoff Calculator proved fruitless, as it does not offer any selections remotely close to not only my job description, but my entire industry.

Parts of my day: The Handspring knows the WinCE is sending an IR, but does nothing with it. I guess I should have paid attention to the IR setup on something at some point. At least 50% of cleaning out the garage is standing around, looking at all the stuff. Dog B is being very conversational. Swapped out incandescents with mini flourescents, but they don't work in dimmers, so I guess I bought too many. Will swap out hard drive in cam box tonight when nothing's on tv. If I'm really bored, I'll reformat it.
Do I know how to live, or what?

Just gotta love spammers. I just got a spam that was sent from my email address. Yep, they hijacked a legit address, probably just grabbed one out of their endless sucker list, and set up the return info with it. And of course, they are so conscientious in informing their recipients that a simple reply will unsubscribe them. The headers indicate the real mailer is from somewhere with an unsupported character set, so I seriously doubt complaining to some overseas ISP will do the slightest bit of good. I guess I should complain about myself to my own ISP, though.
Update: Since no one has responded to "unsubscribe," I now suspect it's software that just makes each victim look like he was the sender. Diabolical spammers.
