The cops that are looking for Chandra Levy came up with these
pictures of what she might look like if she’s hiding out. Yeah. I trust these people to get this investigation right. The office wags suggest that Chandra is hiding out as Ron Glass from Barney Miller, based on shot number four.

Then, later, yet another office wag came up with this.

Drunk? Then this
domain name can be yours for only $500. If proxyghoststories.com doesn’t do it for you, there are pages of other similar errors in judgement/investment strategy available, including proxyvegetables.com, proxycancer.com and proxyfriendlyfolk.com.

I don’t know what to make of some of the searches that find this page. Most come from
Alta Vista, which makes me not want to use Alta Vista very much. Many of them are along these lines:
“nude pictures of my wife”
Let me ask: Are you actually looking for nude pictures of your wife? Do you think the search engine knows who your wife is? Are you expecting AV to scour hard drives across the country in search of your wife’s ex-boyfriend’s secret folder called “nude pictures of my ex-girlfriend who is now married to some paranoid dumbass”?
“how to love my wife”
Oh, dear. Well, at least you’re trying. I can’t help you much, but I will give you one tip. Try not to learn this from porn sites. Those shots are optimized for camera angles, not comfort.
“yoink”
My favorite search of the day. Someone actually found this site by searching for “yoink.” And if you scroll down to the green box, with minimal effort, you can find where I’ve previously typed a yoink. (If your box isn’t green, please consider upgrading your browser.) And now we can look forward to all those “your box is green” search results.

How I spent my day off: Found a videotape with Super Bowl XV on it. So far I’ve seen ads for the Everett Dirksen 15¢ stamp and Chrysler K-cars. Also found on this tape was an episode of Hello, Larry.
